Dr. Wendy Chan is a New York state licensed and board-certified physical therapist, acupuncturist and herbalist.

Dr. Chan started her career as a physical therapist over 10 years ago .

As a physical therapist, Dr. Chan developed expertise in a variety of settings providing care for all types of patients with orthopedic, cardiac, neurological, and pulmonary diagnoses. She has also provided specialized care for gender affirmation procedures and organ transplants.

She learned early in her career that the combination of physical therapy with acupuncture could result in superior outcomes than physical therapy alone. She completed a post-graduate degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine and expanded her skillset to include acupuncture and herbs to provide a more holistic approach for wellness.

As an acupuncturist, she has successfully treated patients with orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, digestive problems, and women’s health conditions.

She is committed to partnering with her clients to expand their wellness by creating individualized plans and looking at the body as a whole for a balanced life.
